A New book now in print says it all for today's American Conservative.
Help support you fellow conservatives and also the Freedom Alliance.
www.grainandgrit.comThe grass is always greener right above the septic tank.
Don’t believe the promises made by some liberal politicians that once
elected they will make the grass greener, because right below the
surface of that promise is a bunch of crap!
Heal, don’t Peal
A wound, whether it be of a man or of nation, can never completely
heal if the scab which covers it, is constantly pealed away to
expose the pain beneath. As Booker T. Washington once said in a
speech, “…"Water, Water; send us water”, ran up from a
distressed vessel, and was answered, “Cast down your bucket
where you are”…The captain of distressed vessel, at last heeding
the injunction, cast down his bucket, and it came up full of fresh,
sparkling water........I would say, Cast down your bucket where you
are. Cast it down in making friends in every manly way of the
people of all races by whom you we are surrounded.”
Thank a soldier, especially if he enlisted.
This is not the day of the draft where people are protesting the
wars due to involuntary service. This is an era where young men
and women enlisted under their own free will to serve their country.
As they step off the plane, boat or train, take their hands and
thank them for a job well done. No matter what your political belief
regarding war is, these fine young patriots place themselves in
harms way for their country and we should honor them for this.
Don’t eat the mint in the urinal.
If your political ambition is to reach as far as you can to the
underbelly of society, remember the white disc staring at you from
bottom of the waste is not a refreshing breath mint but a token for
a subway to purgatory.
Politics, Politicians and Political Correctness
There are all different meanings to these words but they all
convolute in one arena.
Politic as an adjective means shrewdly tactful, politicians as a noun
means one who manages public affairs and political correctness as
a adjective means attempting to avoid offending members of a
different group.
So basically a politician is an astute public manager of insult
avoidance. I have never met one of those in my life.
Deep within each American, lies the Grain and Grit that makes
them truly American
We have come to many hurdles on the track of America that had to
be negotiated and conquered to obtain our national pride we call
American. This sprit, resolve and honor that each of us carry has
been handed down from generation to generation as a baton
passed hand to hand in a relay race of human greatness. We must
carry this baton and hand it to the next generation to insure the
sweat, tears and blood that created this American Pride will never
perish from our land.
“Some say that spirit no longer exists. But I have seen it -- I have
felt it -- all across the land; in the big cities, the small towns and in
rural America. The American spirit is still there, ready to blaze into
life if you and I are willing to do what has to be done” Ronald Regan
Is there a 12 step program for democrat politicians?
Just how about the first 2 to start, it’s hard to keep a liberal focused
after that.
1. Admit that you have a serious uncontrollable problem.
2. Recognize that a Higher Spiritual Power can help you.
